We feature the lady who STARTED Cook Comedy. Jan Maree has been retired for nearly three years but with a bit of persuasion we managed to get her to return to our stage for The Cook - Cafe & Bar's last Cook Comedy.
Good George have bought The Cook and it will continue with comedy, but have a different name - Don't Panic!
Joining Jan Maree on stage will be international kiwi comedy man Simon McKinney, who is a fantastic mimic and impressionist, and our MC will be Andre King.
With the Comedy Show on Thursday 14th September the doors open from 6.00pm and we ask everyone to be here by around 6.30pm if possible. Your name will be on the door, and when you arrive you will be given your table number.
All tables are allocated and we are unable to move bookings around on the night. If you are meeting up with another group please inform us at least two days prior so we can seat you together. Any group bookings need to be arranged prior to MONDAY. We will not be able to shift you on the night, tables are not permitted to be moved or joined on the night. If you have any specific requests, please let us know at least three days prior to the show.
If you have booked for two people you will be seated at a table of four with another booking of two people, this is simply so we can fit everyone in, if you have booked with another group and wish to be seated together, we need to know the name of the people you will be sitting with, we will put you at a table together. We ask you to do this as soon as possible as we do a seating plan up for each show, just email us the details. If we don't hear from you, we simply put you at a mixed table
If you have booked the meal show and drinks deal:
Mains are served before the show, you are given a voucher at the door when you arrive, there is a menu on your table, you order at the bar, and your meals will be brought out. The show starts around 8.00pm and desserts are brought out after the first act
